Welcome to The Alternative Bread Company!
These Terms of Service govern your use of our website alternativebread.co.nz and any purchases made through our store. By using our site or ordering from us, you agree to these terms — so have a read, and if you have any questions, get in touch.
1. Our Products
We sell bake-it-yourself bread mixes that are gluten free, dairy free, egg free, nut free, soy free, and vegan. We do our best to describe our products accurately, but if you have any concerns or questions about ingredients or preparation, please contact us before purchasing.
2. Orders & Payment
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made at the time of purchase via our secure checkout (Shopify Payments, credit/debit card, or other accepted methods).
Once your order is confirmed, we’ll send you a confirmation email.
3. Shipping
We ship across New Zealand using trusted courier services. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days.
Please double-check your address before placing your order. We can’t take responsibility for delays or missing deliveries caused by incorrect address details.
4. Returns & Refunds
Because our products are food items, we’re unable to accept returns for change of mind. However, if there’s an issue with your order — damaged items, missing products, or something not quite right — please get in touch within 3 days of receiving your order. We’ll do our best to make it right.

5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including product names, recipes, images, and branding — is the property of The Alternative Bread Company. Please don’t copy, reproduce, or use our materials without permission.
6. Your Account
You may choose to create an account for quicker checkout or order tracking. Please keep your login details safe. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts if we suspect misuse or breach of these terms.
7. Privacy

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Alternative Bread Company will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of this site or products purchased, except as required under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
